What is a cookie?
Cookies are text strings sent by a web server (e.g. the website) to the user’s web browser, which are automatically stored on the user’s computer and automatically sent back to the server each time the website is visited or accessed subsequently. Each cookie contains various pieces of data, such as the name of the server it comes from, a numerical identifier, etc. Cookies may remain on your system for the duration of a session (i.e. until you close the browser used for web browsing) or for longer periods, and may contain a unique identifier. How to disable, enable or delete cookies
By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies, which can be restricted or blocked via your browser settings. If you prefer that websites do not store any cookies on your computer, set your browser to notify you before each cookie is stored. Alternatively, you can set your browser to reject all cookies or only third-party cookies. You can also delete all cookies already stored on your system. It is important to note that these settings must be changed separately for each browser and computer you use. Blocking cookies does not stop adverts from appearing. It simply means that they will no longer be personalised to your interests and will be displayed more frequently. The procedure for changing these settings varies from browser to browser. If necessary, please use your browser’s Help function to configure the settings correctly.
